One Day. Five Conversations.
Let us know which ones matter to you.
Our food system is broken: what will it take to fix it?
(9:00–10:00) New research from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research models what a fully functional global food system would require. It suggests a seismic shift is needed across supply chains, production systems, and consumption patterns. They'll unlock the findings with the research's lead author and explore the implications for businesses with an expert panel.
What are the real costs of the AI infrastructure boom?
(10:45–11:45) The rapid growth of data centres, driven by AI and digital demand, is placing new pressures on energy systems, resources, and communities. They'll explore the trade-offs, the risks, and how companies are navigating the balance between digital growth and environmental impact.
How do we fix sustainability's language problem?
(12:30–13:30) New research shows that complex, technical language is alienating audiences. Jargon risks derailing progress. The session will debate how to communicate sustainability more clearly, engage wider audiences, and use words to more effectively turn understanding into action.
Why is product reinvention so hard?
(14:30–15:30) Most emissions reductions so far have come from business operations — buildings, energy use, vehicles — rather than the products businesses make. But that approach is reaching its limits. The session explores redesigning products from the ground up, rethinking materials and business models, and confronting the trade-offs that come with real change.
Transition plans: more action or just more disclosure?
(16:30–17:30) Transition plans are fast becoming central to corporate climate governance, responding to growing pressure from regulators and investors. The session debates whether they're delivering real change inside businesses or simply adding another layer of reporting complexity, with perspectives from both practitioners and investors.

NO BULL, JUST BEER (17:30–19:30)
